Colleen Pictor is a native of Rochester, NY and a graduate of Rutgers University’s BFA Dance program at Mason Gross School of the Arts. Colleen has performed the work of Garth Fagan, Mark Morris, Inbal Pinto, Cleo Mack, Stuart Loungway, Paulette Sears,
Keith Thompson, Jon Lehrer, Jennifer Muller, and John Evans. She has presented her work at Two River Theater and is the recipient of the Mason Gross School of the Arts Turner Choreography Award.

Colleen Pictor explores the abstraction of the human condition.
She looks for ways to collaborate with other artists and considers her productions to be fusions of dance and theater. She is particularly interested in the
juxtaposition of gesture with full-bodied movement phrases and the importance of facial expression in performance.
